Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or date of birth typed into one of the search boxes here travels to the outside provider that runs that search. The provider processes the request and returns the results. We do not keep or log the terms you enter.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email us, we retain the message so we can write back. It stays inside our organization, and we do not share it outside unless a legal obligation requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Each page load hands our servers a small set of technical details about the visit:
- The IP address your device is using
- Your browser and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you opened and how long each one stayed on screen
- The referring site, when one sent you here
- A timestamp for every page view
Cookies and Analytics
This site sets cookies, which are small files kept on your device that show us how visitors move through the pages and where they stop reading. Analytics services help us combine that traffic into totals. You can block cookies in your browser at any time, though a few parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
What We Do With This Data
The details we collect serve a short list of practical purposes:
- Keeping pages online, fast, and available
- Forwarding a search request to the partner service that handles it
- Learning which pages help readers and which need another pass
- Finding and repairing technical problems
- Showing advertising that may match your interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, build, sell, or maintain any database of warrants or personal warrant records. It publishes general guidance about where Antrim County warrant records are kept and how to check them through the 86th District Court, the 13th Circuit Court and County Clerk, the Sheriff's Office, and the public Michigan case-search tools. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing collected from visitors is packaged into consumer reports or files about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes on this site belong to outside companies. Whatever you enter into one of those tools is handled under that partner's privacy policy rather than this one. Those partners decide their own retention and sharing practices, and we have no control over them. Read the partner's policy before you submit a search.
Links to Other Websites
Pages here link out to court portals, county offices, state agencies, legal aid organizations, and outside search services. Following one of those links takes you off this site, and the destination's privacy policy then applies to your visit. Read it before you share personal details.
Some advertising partners may follow your activity across sites to serve targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not on ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may reach:
- Search partners that process a query you start here
- Analytics providers we use to measure traffic and speed
- Advertising networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
We apply standard security practices to the information we hold. No site connected to the internet can promise perfect safety, and we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur. We do what we reasonably can to keep your information secure.
Users Under 18
This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us data, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
Your Data Rights
Michigan law, including the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq., gives the public a route to government records, and separate state and federal rules may give you rights over information a private site holds. At a minimum, you can ask us to:
- Provide a copy of what we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your data
- Stop certain kinds of processing
The Michigan FOIA applies to public bodies such as the county and the courts. It does not apply to this site, which is privately operated and holds no warrant records.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change as the site changes. A revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, so check back if you want to follow how we handle visitor information.
